Shayna is the owner and tattoo artist at Golden Cat Tattoo Studio. She was born and raised in Massachusetts. She was in AP art classes throughout high school and took numerous certificate programs at RISD before graduating high school. She continued her education at Massachusetts College of Art and Design and received her BFA in Industrial Design in 2012. Shayna received various awards for her thesis work.

After college Shayna worked as a photographer, a graphic designer, and a product designer. Finally she followed her true passion and pursued becoming a tattoo artist. Shayna has been professionally tattooing since June 2016.

Outside of work Shayna enjoys spending time with her family of 3 cats, 2 dogs and her husband, Nick. Shayna and Nick love creating arts of all sorts together from film photography, print making, and restoring antique furniture. Shayna can be still be found in a pit at a pop punk show like it’s 2003 again.
